Catherine S. Montz, M.A., NCC, PLPC
Catherine is a provisional licensed professional counselor and a nationally certified counselor. She received her bachelor’s degree in Social Counseling in 2011 and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2014 from Our Lady of Holy Cross College. She is a member of the Louisiana Counseling Association, American Counseling Association, and National Board of Certified Counselors. Catherine specializes in treating clients affected by anxiety, depression, sexual trauma, chronic illness, and grief and loss. She provides individual, family, group counseling, and play therapy. Catherine has an eclectic approach to counseling, placing a heavy emphasis on the person-centered, cognitive behavioral, and existential theories. Through her holistic approach, her clients are supported on their journey of self-discovery, healing, and change as they explore the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit.
